Here in Northern New Mexico, there is an abundance of wood sitting in people’s yards. The cool thing is that the weathering and aging help to create absolutely beautiful pieces with a huge amount of character. Add to that the dryness in the area, which protects the wood from rot, and we have at our hands the opportunity to reclaim a ton of old wood that needs just a bit of upcycling and love!
